Tickets

Tickets are available online, via this website, normally from about 5 weeks before the screening date.

There will also be a supply of tickets available from The Main Sail Tearoom on Nelson Road

Remaining tickets will be available to buy on the door, at the screening.
There will be an opportunity to buy tickets online for most films.

Wherever you see a button labelled 'Get Tickets' next to a film, you will be able to buy online.

Online ticket sales are provided by TICKETSOURCE and a small booking fee applies to all online ticket sales.

Tickets for a film will normally be available to buy online, 4 to 5 weeks ahead of the screening date, until 12 hours before the film is shown. Remaining tickets will be available to buy at The Ho!DEON when doors open for the film show.
A Family Ticket is for films with certificates U, PG or 12A. It allows entry to The Ho!DEON for up to 2 adults and 3 children, or 1 adult and 4 children (a maximum 5 people). The group must include at least 1 child.
  • Adult - 16 years and over.
  • Concessions - 15 years and under, and, 60 years and over.
  • Family ticket - entry for up to 2 adults and 3 children, or 1 adult and 4 children (a maximum 5 people) must include at least 1 child
Normally, doors will open 30 minutes before the performance is due to begin.
Not yet but we hope to start a membership scheme in the coming months.
All of our tickets are non-refundable but fully transferable. If you can’t make a screening please feel free to pass your tickets on to someone else.
There are no bookable seats available.
Under 3’s can only be admitted to films rated U. Under 2's are free if they sit on a carer’s lap, but will be charged for if they occupy a seat. All 2 year-olds and over will be charged the child’s rate whether they occupy a seat or not.
We love being a child-friendly venue, however, please spare a thought for our other guests – if your baby grows unsettled, step outside for a moment until they’ve calmed down.
We normally advise an aisle seat.

Disabled Access

There is a small car park directly behind Kingsley Hall. Whilst there are no officially marked blue badge spaces, we would like to keep this free for people in need.

Yes, there are disabled toilets at Kingsley Hall.
Yes, guide dogs and hearing dogs are welcome.

Driving and Parking

There is a small car park directly behind Kingsley Hall. Whilst there are no officially marked blue badge spaces, we would like to keep this free for people in need, so please try to use alternative parking.

Facilities

There will be soft drinks and confectionery available and we will be serving our ice-cream, made locally in Devon, as well as our own hand made popcorn.
Unfortunately, only food and drinks from ourselves are permitted into the screen. This is for a number of reasons but mainly to help keep The Ho!DEON clean and tidy.
For general screenings, no alcohol will be admitted.

Yes, we are always open to suggestions. Please bear in mind that the film will need to appeal to a reasonably sized audience to cover the licensing costs.
